House of GPA is excited to introduce two brand-new programmes in Balham, London: our Sunday Tumble Clinic and Cheerleading Pom Pom Classes—both designed to support children of all abilities while building confidence, strength and skills in a fun, inclusive environment.

Sunday Tumble Clinic (Ages 5–16 years | Sundays, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)

Our Sunday Tumble Clinic is the perfect programme for children looking to develop or refine their tumbling skills, whether they are complete beginners or more advanced athletes. This extended session allows for focused coaching, repetition and progression at each child’s own pace.

Children will work on a wide range of tumbling and gymnastics skills, including:

  • Beginner level: forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, handstand basics and body control

  • Intermediate level: round-offs, bridge work, kickovers, walkovers and improved technique

  • Advanced level: back handsprings, front and back tucks, connections and power development

Alongside skill-building, children will also improve flexibility, strength, coordination and confidence, all while learning in a safe and structured environment led by experienced coaches.

Cheerleading Pom Pom Classes (Ages 3–11 years | Tuesdays & Sundays)

Our Cheerleading Pom Pom Classes are high-energy, engaging sessions designed to introduce children to the exciting world of cheerleading. These classes combine dance, rhythm and basic cheer skills, making them perfect for both beginners and those with previous experience.

Children will learn:

  • Fundamental cheer movements: arm motions, jumps and basic formations

  • Pom pom techniques: coordination, timing and performance skills using pom poms

  • Dance routines: fun, age-appropriate choreography set to upbeat music

  • Confidence and teamwork: building stage presence, expression and group coordination

Younger children (ages 3–5) will focus on movement, rhythm and confidence through playful routines, while older children will progress into more structured cheer combinations and performance skills.
